About the Role

Our client, a reputable property management firm based in Pretoria, Gauteng , is seeking an energetic and reliable Commercial Cleaning Team Leader to manage their cleaning services for various commercial properties. This role is vital for ensuring a high standard of cleanliness and presentation across office buildings, retail spaces, and other commercial establishments. The Team Leader will be responsible for guiding a team of cleaning staff, ensuring all cleaning duties are performed efficiently and to our client's exacting standards. Key Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and supervise a team of cleaning staff to ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
• Develop daily and weekly cleaning schedules, assigning tasks to team members and monitoring progress.
• Conduct regular quality checks and inspections of cleaned areas, providing feedback and coaching to the team.
• Ensure the proper use and maintenance of cleaning equipment and supplies, managing inventory levels.
• Maintain a safe working environment for the cleaning team and building occupants, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for site supervisors or building managers regarding cleaning services in Gauteng .
• Handle minor staff issues, scheduling adjustments, and reporting client feedback to management.
• Implement and enforce company policies and procedures related to cleaning services and employee conduct.
• Assist with deep cleaning tasks when necessary, demonstrating best practices.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a commercial cleaning role, with at least one year in a supervisory or team leader capacity.
