Our Client in the Solar & Electrical Industry is looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to grow their market share in the Garden Route Area, covering Plett, Knysna, George, Oudtshoorn, and surrounding areas, in the commercial and industrial sectors.

Purpose of position :

Head up business development in the Garden Route area in the commercial and industrial sectors only. Build brand awareness and promote the Company’s offerings into the Garden Route Market.

Skills, Knowledge, Abilities and Requirements :
  1. This position will suit someone who has a large network in property management / commercial sales and knows many landlords.
  2. Experience in electrical or solar industries is beneficial.
  3. Strong computer skills across all software, especially the Office suite.
  4. Valid Driver’s license and own vehicle are essential.
  5. Excellent interpersonal skills, resourceful, and energetic.
  6. Hands-on and willing to work at all levels.
  7. Ability to operate independently.
  8. Excellent networking skills.
  9. Meticulous, thorough, with a keen eye for detail.
  10. Strong work ethic, capable of handling multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
  11. Willingness to learn and grasp technical concepts.
  12. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
