Commercial Business Development Manager

Our Client in the Solar & Electrical Industry is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to expand their market share in the EL area, covering from Port Alfred to Mthatha, focusing on the commercial and industrial sectors.

Purpose of the Position:

Lead business development efforts in the EL region within the commercial and industrial sectors. This role involves building brand awareness and promoting the company’s offerings in the EL market, excluding residential/home installations.

Skills, Knowledge, Abilities, and Requirements:
  • Extensive network in property management and commercial sales, with good relationships with landlords.
  • Electrical or solar experience is advantageous.
  • Proficient in computer skills, especially the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Valid driver’s license and own vehicle are essential.
  • Excellent interpersonal, networking, and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Resourceful, energetic, and hands-on with a willingness to work at all levels.
  • Ability to operate independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Meticulous with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to meet deadlines.
