Commercial BDM - Huawei Enterprise Technology

The main purpose of the Commercial BDM - Huawei Enterprise Technology role is to act as a client advocate (Huawei) with a focus on improving the reseller experience.

Responsibilities
  1. Drive Gross Profit targets through Resellers.
  2. Sell First Distribution's Huawei product portfolio within existing Resellers.
  3. Recruit new Resellers.
  4. Display key competencies of product knowledge and brand programs across the relevant portfolio of products.
  5. Conduct Business Review Sessions with brand managers.
  6. Hold bi-weekly sales reviews with Line Manager.
  7. Drive Sales Strategy and overview sessions with resellers.
  8. Manage the on-boarding process within accounts, including re-operational, sales, and technical processes.
  9. Build and manage effective relationships with relevant team members and resellers.
  10. Ensure the satisfactory execution of the aligned business plan in conjunction with your Line Manager and Brand Managers.
  11. Identify and qualify new deals and partners to sustain the pipeline and target coverage.
  12. Report opportunity details to the Line Manager and brand managers regularly, showing deal progression and pipeline creation using the CRM system.
  13. Achieve sales targets and report deviations with explanations.
  14. Ensure targeted profit margins are achieved and brand rebates are released.
  15. Adhere to Call Plans and report weekly activities and meeting minutes to Line Manager.
  16. Submit sales reports and forecasts to Line Manager.
  17. Assist clients in meeting their requirements by planning solutions.
  18. Maintain updated knowledge of Huawei products and services.
  19. Communicate with clients to understand their needs and explain product value.
  20. Forecast and track key account metrics.
  21. Monitor and analyze customer usage of our products.
  22. Manage Reseller Accounts, engaging with Resellers and Brand Managers on marketing initiatives.
  23. Ensure customers receive newsletters, pricing, promotional offers, etc.
  24. Record detailed account information and develop strategic account plans.
  25. Facilitate and resolve queries and escalations.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field is preferable.

Proven track record of 3-5 years in business development, sales, or account management, preferably within the technology or telecommunications industry.

Experience in driving sales and meeting revenue targets, focusing on gross profit through resellers.

Experience in selling Huawei products or similar technology solutions is highly desirable.
