Grade 12

Minimum 5 years' experience in IT environment systems, fares, and routes

Proficiency in Microsoft Applications

Administrative functions related to transport management

Understanding of ticketing systems, fares, and routes

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and resolve all issues related to SmartTap systems
  • Maintain and oversee the SmartTap systems across all Business Units
  • Manage and control all SmartTap devices
  • Handle dataset charges
  • Support ETM Officers with shift and route changes
  • Configure cash fares and multi-journey fares on the system
  • Coordinate with BluLabel Multi Journey Sales Outlets
  • Provide user support and troubleshoot IT-related problems
  • Create and disable user accounts on the SmartTap system
  • Install and set up SmartTap systems, computers, and printers
  • Train ETM Officers and Admin Staff
  • Handle administrative tasks such as creating orders and managing invoices
  • Follow up on insurance claims for stolen SmartTap devices
  • Liaise with TicketPro and other vendors
  • Set up ETM data and passenger support systems
