1. Colour Printer Maintenance:

1. Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of imagePRESS printers.
2. Keep abreast of software updates, bulletins, and other technical information related to ProPrint devices.
3. Ensure printers are calibrated and profiled for optimal colour accuracy.

2. Colour Management:

1. Develop and implement colour management workflows customized to the customer's print environment.
2. Create and manage ICC profiles for various printing conditions.
3. Establish best practice standards and verifications for repeatable, consistent production results.

3. Print Quality Control:

1. Monitor and maintain high print quality standards.
2. Conduct regular print quality checks, repair, and make adjustments as needed.

4. Technical Support:

1. Provide technical assistance to operators and customers.
2. Troubleshoot colour-related issues and resolve problems efficiently.

5. Training and Documentation:

1. Train operators on colour printer operation, maintenance, calibration, and colour management.
2. Compile and maintain documentation on colour printer settings, profiles, and workflows.

What we ask

1. 3-5 years of experience in digital colour printing and colour management.
2. Strong understanding of colour theory, advanced colour management, and ICC profiling.
3. Proficiency in colour printer operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
4. Experience with colour management software (e.g., Adobe Color, EFI Colour Profiler Suite, PrismaSync Tools).
5. Understanding of design software common to print like Photoshop, Illustrator, Corel Draw, and Inkscape.
6. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
7. Ability to work in a fast-paced, pressure environment and prioritize tasks effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Technical Certificate or Diploma from reputable Higher Education Institutions.
2. Certification in printing technology and colour management.
3. Experience with Canon or similar printer brands and models; Pro Series an advantage.
4. Knowledge of print production workflows and software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Corel).
