Collections/Debtors Manager (Call Centre)

Opportunity exists for an experienced Collections/Debtors Manager to join the Pretoria-West Head Office of a longstanding client.

Minimum Requirements
Matric
2+ years managerial experience in a collections call-centre environment.

Overview of position

1. Lead a team of 20 Collections Agents.
2. Coach, train and mentor staff.
3. Ensure that policies and procedures are communicated and understood.
4. Oversee the effective implementation of policies and procedures, and ongoing improvement of controls and systems and the enhancement of relevant policies and procedures.
5. Monthly review of collection key performance areas and results.
6. Monitor the overall standard of maintenance of the debtors book.
7. Identify opportunities and develop proposals to strengthen credit position and ensure implementation thereof.
8. Conduct weekly reviews with credit controllers to monitor progress on debt collections.
9. Manage the efficiency and effective collection of all outstanding debt by credit controllers.
10. Ensure compliance with all relevant policies and procedures and legislation.

Salary Bracket
R20 000 to R35 000 per month CTC, depending on experience, qualification(s) and current/previous salary.
