Qualifications

• Valid Code 10 license with PDP is required.
• Minimum 3 years of professional driving experience, preferably in pharmaceutical or cold chain logistics.
• Clean driving record and background check.
• Knowledge of temperature control requirements and cold chain management.
• Excellent knowledge of East London area and surrounding regions.
• Proficiency with GPS and temperature/delivery tracking software.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate temperature-controlled vehicles to transport pharmaceutical products according to strict guidelines.
• Ensure deliveries are made within specified timeframes and temperature ranges.
• Maintain accurate temperature logs, delivery confirmations, and deviations.
• Adhere to GDP guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Perform pre-trip inspections of vehicle and equipment for compliance.
• Safely load and unload shipments, maintaining the cold chain.
• Conduct remote route planning and optimization for efficient schedules.
• Communicate delivery status with dispatch, clients, and healthcare professionals.
• Handle shipment documentation with confidentiality.
• Report security concerns or product integrity issues to authorities.
