Overview

Our Client is seeking a Coffee Technician to join their company in Isando, Kempton Park.

Position Info

Job Requirements

  • Matric
  • Electrical or Mechanical Diploma (advantageous)
  • Proven track record in the coffee industry
  • Skills & Knowledge Required :
  • Experience with beverage equipment, including vending, traditional, and fully automatic machines (preferred)
  • Solid understanding of SHEQ practices
  • Strong time management and administrative skills
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Advanced knowledge of the water and coffee cycle
Job Duties
  • Repair and fault-find (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and software) for coffee, slush and other dispense machines
  • Calibrate, program, and test equipment to ensure top coffee quality
  • Install equipment and perform preventative maintenance
  • Communicate clearly with clients and managers on-site
  • Accurately complete job cards, tool checks, and stock records
  • Maintain high standards of work, safety, cleanliness, and professionalism
  • Escalate technical issues timeously and follow up where needed
  • Ensure that vehicle inspection is done once a week and submitted to the Operations department
  • Administrators.
  • Submit stock orders timeously.
  • Manage car stock to ensure minimal inventory variance and enough stock to deliver quality service.
  • Accurately complete calls on the App
  • Available to work overtime on standby and weekends as per the standby schedules
  • Responsible management of tools and spares
  • Uphold company values and ethics at all times
  • Deliver quality workmanship with cost-awareness
