Sales Consultant George

We require a Sales Consultant to promote the company and to meet sales targets. We require a self-driven, energetic individual with an outgoing personality who can communicate confidently on all levels. This position will report to our George office but will involve travelling within the region, so a valid Driver’s License is essential.

Key roles and responsibilities:

1. Market company to both existing and prospective clients
2. Canvass new business from a variety of sources, i.e. Brokers & Commercial clients
3. Provide policy / product information
4. Follow up service on existing clients.
5. Follow through on queries.
6. Sell company units according to targets set by management.
7. Provide client service to both existing and prospective clients.
8. Administration of sales contracts.
9. Complete reports.
10. Work to set targets.
11. Attend to necessary administration.

Skills, experience and education:

1. Matric a minimum requirement with a relevant tertiary qualification preferable
2. 5 Years Sales experience in business to business
3. 2 Years sales experience in the insurance and or vehicle dealer industry will be an advantage.
4. A proven track record in a service orientated sales environment.
5. Valid Driver’s License.
6. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
7. Excellent negotiating and sales skills.
8. Good business acumen.
9. Ability to work under pressure
10. Must be fluent in Afrikaans
11. Must be from George or the within The Garden Route area
