Status Staffing is seeking a reliable Code 10 driver with PDP for Somerset West, Western Cape. The role requires a Matric with Mathematics, 1–3 years driving experience, and fluency in English and Afrikaans. You will handle deliveries, documentation, safety checks, and customer service with minimal supervision.

The position offers permanent employment, a basic salary of R12,600 plus bonus structure and benefits, with an ASAP start date and a focus on professional conduct and punctuality.

Qualifications

• Matric with Mathematics required.
• Valid Code 10 or Code 14 driver’s license with PDP required.
• 1–3 years driving experience.
• Fluent in English and Afrikaans.
• Professional attitude and appearance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
• Self-driven and able to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Deliver according to route sheet and ensure deliveries to correct address.
• Ensure all required documentation accompanies each delivery.
• Compare delivery note against load for accuracy.
• Direct customer complaints and delivery notes to Warehouse Administration.
• Ensure vehicles are loaded correctly and safely.
• Sign for and acknowledge load acceptance.
• Handle customer rejections per procedures.
• Adhere to health and safety protocols on-site and en route.
• Follow company vehicle policy at all times.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report issues.
• Conduct regular temperature checks and record readings.
• Ensure products and packaging remain intact during loading/offloading.
