Job summary

Profile Personnel is seeking a Code 10 / Code 14 driver with a valid PDP in East London, South Africa. This role involves delivering customer orders safely and efficiently, maintaining strict adherence to vehicle standards and road regulations.

Ideal candidates must have at least a Grade 12 education, a minimum of one year driving experience, and mechanical knowledge to handle basic vehicle maintenance. Proficiency in English, Xhosa, and Afrikaans is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year’s driving experience required.
• The incumbent must work in temperatures ranging from 0 °C to -18 °C.
• Familiarity with the company’s Motor Vehicle Policy is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Maintain vehicle housekeeping at the required standard.
• Abide by the National Road Traffic Act Regulations.
• Deliver customer orders accurately as per invoice.
• Build strong relationships with customers' receiving staff.
• Monitor and report on any mechanical failures immediately.

Skills

Valid unendorsed Code 10 and / or Code 14 Driver’s license with a PDP

Mechanical knowledge

Proficiency in English, Xhosa and Afrikaans
