Afrimat Nkomati Anthracite in Mpumalanga invites applications for an Articulated Dump Truck (ADT) Operator. The role demands safe operation of ADTs in coal mining, adherence to MHSA, and active participation in safety meetings.

Required: Grade 12, valid ADT Operator Certificate, 3–5 years' experience in open-cast coal mining, medical fitness, and a valid driver's license (advantage). The position is on site, with full-time hours and a closing date of 15 October 2026.

Formación

• Grade 12 / Matric.
• Valid ADT Operator Certificate.
• Minimum of 3-5 years' experience operating an ADT in open-cast coal mining.
• Valid Medical Certificate of Fitness.
• Valid driver's licence is an advantage.
• Solid understanding of mining safety standards and MHSA compliance.

Responsabilidades

• Operate the ADT safely and efficiently in coal mining operations.
• Conduct pre-start inspections and complete checklists.
• Report defects, unsafe conditions, and incidents promptly.
• Load, haul, and dump material as instructed by Supervisors.
• Maintain housekeeping on equipment and in work areas.
• Participate in safety meetings and toolbox talks.
• Ensure compliance with production and operational requirements.
