Co-Ordinator Deli at PnP

Introduction

Pick n Pay Gauteng Region is looking for an experienced Deli Co-Ordinator. The Co-Ordinator will guide and support Deli Managers to maximize sales and promotions while driving activities that improve the customer offering and in-store experience. The incumbent needs to drive production planning and margin analysis in addition to developing and implementing action plans to achieve the budgets.

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Understand key drivers, desired outcomes, and Deli Standards.
2. Regular communication with division, store, and in-store Fresh management.
3. Identify and implement contingency plans to close performance gaps.
4. Maintain a solid working knowledge of assigned business area, industry, and market knowledge and trends.
5. Use knowledge of industry practices, business area, business trends, trade patterns, and the competitive environment to develop trading and production plans.
6. Develop and recommend business strategies that target growth in Deli.
7. Make specific recommendations for development on company initiatives.
8. Develop and implement action plans to enable the attainment of financial goals, leveraging knowledge of factors and trends that are likely to impact financial performance.
9. Monitor budgets, production planning, and take action to align sales.
10. Train and develop department managers.
11. Assist stores with weekly stock takes and compile store reports.
12. Conduct regular quality checks and audits.
13. Ensure that display and quality standards are adhered to.

1. Matric Grade 12.
2. Minimum of 2 years experience in Deli Management.
3. In-depth knowledge of Deli in-store processes and procedures.
4. Excellent understanding of Deli in-store operations.
5. Retail Management Diploma (advantageous).
6. Valid SA ID.
7. Valid Driver's License.
