Join Nairola as a Skilled Full-Stack Developer (Backend focus) (EQUIT COMPENSATED ONLY) in Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa.

As a Co-founder Fullstack Developer (Backend Focus), you will architect and develop core backend systems for secure and efficient medical data exchange between hospitals and laboratories.

Key Responsibilities:

• Backend Development & Architecture: Design, develop, and maintain backend APIs with Nest.js (TypeScript). Build scalable microservices, ensure high availability, implement authentication (OAuth, JWT, RBAC).
• Database & Data Management: Optimize relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB), ensure data security and fast access.
• API Development & Integration: Build RESTful APIs, GraphQL endpoints, and integrate with healthcare APIs (FHIR, HL7).
• Security & Compliance: Enforce encryption, HIPAA, GDPR, NDPR compliance, conduct security audits.
• DevOps & Infrastructure: Setup CI/CD pipelines, deploy on AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure using Docker & Kubernetes, monitor with Prometheus and Grafana.
• Collaboration & Leadership: Work with product and frontend teams, guide junior developers, participate in strategic planning.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on health tech, security, and backend tech, optimize systems.
