CNC Programmer / Setter

CNC Programmer / Setter position availablein Springs.

We’re looking for a talented individual to join a dynamic team at production facility in Springs.

If you have a solid background in Fanuc controls and a keen understanding of technical drawings, we want to hear from you!

This is a Contract based Position (ongoing).

Salary: R120 – R140 per hour Negotiable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Programming and setting CNC turning centers using Fanuc controls.
• Interpreting technical drawings to ensure precise machining processes.
• Troubleshooting any programming or machining issues that may arise.
• Collaborating with team members to enhance production efficiency and quality.
• Monitor, Maintain & clean machines
• Delegate tasks to Operators.
• Assist with Department planning.

Requirements:

• Grade 12 or equivalent
• Proven experience as a CNC turning programmer and setter.
• Minimum 5 years experience
• Proficiency in Fanuc controls is essential.
• Strong understanding of technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
• Willingness to adapt to changing production demands and deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Trade certificate will be an advantage.
• Software Experience required: Mastercam 2024 and SolidWorks 2024.
