West Coast Personnel in Milnerton seeks a technically strong CNC Machinist to program, set and operate CNC milling machines (3- and 4-axis) and CNC turning lathes. Proficiency with Fanuc controls and Fusion 360 CAM is essential.

You will read engineering drawings, select tooling, set feeds and speeds, and ensure components meet tight tolerances with strict quality checks. Aiming for high accuracy, safety and productivity.

Qualifications

• Red Seal Trade Test required.
• Proficient in Fanuc control systems.
• Minimum 5 years CNC machining experience with 3-/4-axis milling.
• Experience with CNC turning and lathes.
• Ability to program, set and operate CNC machinery.
• Proficient in Autodesk Fusion 360 CAM.
• Strong understanding of precision machining.
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Good measuring and inspection skills.
• Own reliable transport.

Responsabilités

• Program, set and operate CNC milling machines.
• Work on 3-axis and 4-axis CNC milling.
• Set and operate CNC turning machines and lathes.
• Create and optimise CNC programs using Fusion 360 CAM.
• Interpret technical drawings and machining specifications.
