Qualifications

• 3 years minimum experience programming, setting and operating CNC milling and lathe machines.
• Experience programming and operating C-Tek CNC milling machines and Okuma lathes.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and tolerances.
• Experience machining stainless steel, mild steel and other materials.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and operate Okuma CNC lathe machines.
• Program, set up, and operate C-Tek CNC milling machines.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and customer requirements.
• Manufacture precision-engineered components to specified tolerances and quality standards.
• Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, and cutting parameters for machining operations.
• Perform machine setups, prove-out new programs, and conduct first-off inspections.
• Conduct quality inspections using precision measuring equipment to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and programming issues to minimise downtime and maintain production efficiency.
• Optimize machining processes to improve productivity and reduce cycle times.
• Complete production and quality documentation accurately.
• Maintain machines and work areas in accordance with company housekeeping and preventative maintenance requirements.
• Adhere to all safety, quality, and environmental procedures and standards.
