Job summary

TMF Group in Cape Town is seeking a CMS Coordinator to manage a team of Accounting Officers handling financial and administrative matters for SPVs involved in structured finance transactions, ensuring compliant, timely delivery.

The role requires a degree in Accounting/Finance, 4+ years in financial services, knowledge of ESMA, Dutch GAAP, IFRS, strong leadership, and excellent English. This position offers international exposure and growth within TMF's global Capital Markets Services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field and professional certifications (ACCA/CPA/ACA) are desirable.
• 4+ years of relevant experience in financial services with exposure to structured finance and SPVs.
• Solid knowledge of ESMA regulations, Dutch GAAP, IFRS; familiarity with US GAAP is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of a team of Accounting Officers to ensure smooth financial and administrative processes.
• Assign and coordinate tasks among team members effectively.
• Ensure accurate and timely ESMA reporting requirements.
• Develop and maintain processes and controls for ESMA/regulatory compliance.
• Provide guidance on regulatory implications and best practices in reporting.
• Review and validate deliverables such as financial reports and statutory filings.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients and advisors to support business growth.
• Represent the team in client meetings and maintain a high level of service.
• Support team development through training and mentoring.
