Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in OHS, Risk Management, or Environmental Management or similar.
• 8–10 years' experience in a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment.
• Experience in risk management, OHS, security management, compliance and audits, and incident investigation.

Responsibilities

• System Management: Manage and maintain Integrated Risk Management Systems across the cluster aligned with ISO standards (ISO 45001 and ISO 14001).
• Legal Compliance: Ensure the cluster adheres to South African Health, Safety, Environmental and Risk legislation, OHSA and regulations.
• Strategic Risk Assessment: Facilitate site-wide risk assessments and maintain risk and compliance registers.
• Incident & Investigation: Lead investigations using RCA techniques and implement CAPA.
• Emergency & Disaster Recovery: Drive business continuity and disaster recovery planning.
• Contractor Management: Coordinate contractor safety to ensure third-party compliance with regulations and internal standards.
