Job description

Medipost Pharmacy is looking for a professional self-driven individual to join the Order Processing Department in the capacity of a Cluster Pharmacist (L02). The successful individual will be placed in Gezina (Pretoria).

Primary Purpose of the Job:
  1. Providing proper patient care as per GPP (Good Pharmacy Practice) regulations.
  2. Attending training on Pharmacy acts and GPP.
  3. Attending SOP training and SOP revision training.
  4. Compliance with Company Policies, Procedures, and SOPs.
  5. Compliance with the POPI Act regulations.
  6. Accurate capturing of chronic and acute medication prescriptions and handling of rejections according to company SOPs.
  7. Attend to cluster and personal action diaries.
  8. Compliance to SLA requirements (completing of mailbox profiles and action diaries within required timelines).
  9. Handling of clinical enquiries and discussions with patients and health care professionals or SPNs.
  10. Attend to and respond in a professional manner to email messages or enquiries received from management, SPNs, or members.
  11. Attend to OUT OF WIP notifications.
  12. Attend to the blind checking mailbox according to SLA timelines.
  13. Stock management – understand the cold chain processes, expiry dates, and stock returns.
  14. Willing to register as a Medipost tutor through MTA.
  15. Tutor and train a small group of assistants on company SOPs, company policies, OTC medication, and other health topics.
  16. Take charge of a small group of assistants according to a Disaster Recovery Plan.
Experience:

Min 2 years’ experience as a pharmacist.

Need to be registered at SAPC.
