We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Cloud Solutions Architect, responsible for aligning our technical roadmap to the Group's strategy!

You will architect, design and deliver our cloud infrastructure environments in Azure, acting as our technical lead and liaising with Microsoft and potential partners to modernize our platforms globally.

This is a pivotal role where you'll utilize your hands-on technical expertise to get stuck in with the day-to-day when needed, but for the most part to lead on and provide strategic direction.

Every day you will…

1. Prepare a migration approach, determining which applications and platforms should stay on-prem, which should migrate to private clouds and which should be hosted in public clouds.
2. Deliver and maintain an enterprise landing zone to enable scale, security, governance networking and identity.
3. Design and implement Backup, BCP, and DR platforms to meet business requirements.
4. Implement and maintain cloud platforms to ensure availability requirements meet requirements with guaranteed uptime.
5. Work with our senior management team to ensure Azure cost management and billing is in line with expectations and assist with future utilization forecasting and budget preparation.

To thrive in this role, you must have…

1. Extensive cloud experience, particularly within Azure.
2. Experience within O migrations, datacentre networking and migration to Azure services.
3. In-depth core networking knowledge.
4. Strong knowledge of cloud best practices across platforms, security and experience of delivering cloud policies.
