Job summary

Vista seeks a Platform Engineer specializing in FinOps and Infrastructure to ensure service quality, security, and availability of the Vista Cloud and VMS offerings. This role requires expertise in Azure or AWS, proactive security monitoring, and operational efficiency.

The successful candidate will also mentor support teams and assist in security incident responses, contributing to a robust security posture.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of DevOps / Repo, deployment pipelines, and approval processes for IaC.
• Strong understanding of firewalling, Security, and compliance related elements.
• Willingness to learn and grow within the IaC and security space.

Responsibilities

• Ensure effective monitoring of Vista's services.
• Lead the response to security incidents.
• Train internal support teams on security queries.

Skills

Azure or AWS Certification

Strong Server Administrator Experience MCSE / MCSA

Problem solving and analytical skills

Knowledge and experience using FinOps tools

Understanding of compliance requirements

Education

Relevant tertiary degree in business or technology
