Cloud & Modern Workplace Engineer (JB5174)
Fully remote for applicants living in SA
R 45 000 per month
Duration: Permanent

We are looking for a skilled Cloud & Modern Workplace Engineer to join our clients team. This role focuses on leveraging Microsoft technologies to create seamless integration between on-premises and cloud environments. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting hybrid solutions using Microsoft 365 and related tools, ensuring an efficient and collaborative modern workplace experience for clients.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Strong experience in designing and implementing hybrid solutions using Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, and Azure.
2. Proficiency in cloud and on-premises integration, with a solid understanding of network and infrastructure concepts.
3. Knowledge of Microsoft security frameworks and compliance standards, including Azure Security Centre, Microsoft Defender, and identity management with Entra ID.
4. Ability to lead customer workshops, training sessions, and collaborative meetings.
5. Experience working in a similar role, ideally within a Managed Service Provider (MSP) or IT services environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Design, implement, and support hybrid workplace solutions using Microsoft 365 technologies.
2. Enhance collaboration by ensuring seamless integration between cloud and on-premises environments.
3. Provide technical leadership and guidance on Microsoft 365 and Azure security frameworks.
4. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
5. Lead customer workshops, training sessions, and stakeholder meetings to drive technology adoption.
6. Document project scopes, technical reports, and proposals with clarity.
7. Stay updated on the latest Microsoft technologies and industry trends.
8. Work closely with internal teams and clients to ensure smooth deployment and ongoing support of solutions.
