Job description

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and maintain our cloud infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in cloud platforms and a proven ability to build scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions.

You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to migrate workloads, automate deployments, and optimize our cloud environment while ensuring high availability and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS / Azure / GCP
2. Implement CI / CD pipelines for automated deployments
3. Configure and maintain cloud networking, security, and storage solutions
4. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure issues
5. Automate cloud operations using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
6. Implement security best practices and compliance controls
7. Optimize cloud costs through right-sizing and reserved instances
8. Collaborate with DevOps teams to streamline deployment processes
9. Develop disaster recovery and business continuity strategies
10. Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and trends

Technical Skills & Competencies:

1. Core Cloud Platforms: AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, IAM, CloudFormation), Azure (Virtual Machines, Blob Storage, Functions, SQL Database), Google Cloud (Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions)
2. Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates
3. Containerization & Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, GKE)
4. Networking & Security: VPC configuration, Load balancing, Firewall management, Identity and Access Management (IAM)
5. Monitoring & Logging: CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Stackdriver, Prometheus / Grafana
6. Scripting & Automation: Python, Bash, PowerShell, Ansible

Qualifications:

1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
2. Experience: 5+ years in cloud engineering roles, 3+ years hands-on experience with major cloud providers, Proven track record of successful cloud migrations
3. Certifications (Preferred): AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Professional Cloud Architect, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
4. Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, Excellent communication and collaboration skills, Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, Proactive approach to identifying and solving infrastructure challenges, Continuous learning mindset
