Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center seeks an experienced clinician to render efficient clinical care on research protocols at the Groote Schuur Hospital J52 site. You will assess participants, follow blood results and manage study drug accountability in collaboration with the clinical and research teams.

Required MBChB with HPCSA independent practitioner registration, GCP and ACLS/BLS, plus at least 2 years post‑community service, including clinical trials.

Qualificações

• MBChB degree and HPCSA registration as an independent practitioner
• GCP certification and ACLS/BLS credentials
• Post‑graduate experience in clinical trials and infectious disease settings

Responsabilidades

• Clinically assess, examine, diagnose and manage the health of participants
• Check and follow up blood results
• Complete prescriptions of pharmaceuticals appropriately
• Monitor clinical examinations and procedures by study nurses
• Manage accountability and adherence monitoring of study drugs
• Refer participants to other clinical care as required
• Consult with other clinical and research staff when necessary
• Ensure all research activities comply with SAHPRA, protocol and ICH GCP guidelines
• Recruit, screen and enroll participants per protocol requirements
• Obtain informed consent per SOPs
• Manage Adverse Events and report per protocol
• Perform other protocol specific procedures when necessary
• Interpret laboratory results and assist with data queries for the study
