Clinical Trial Manager - IQVIA Biotech

Job Overview

Clinical Trial Managers are integral to clinical trial delivery, leading and collaborating with clinical teams to bring new drugs to market faster and improve patient lives.

The Clinical Lead is responsible for the clinical delivery of full-service, large, multi-regional studies, ensuring compliance with SOPs, policies, and practices.

Essential Functions
  1. Ensure clinical delivery of projects in compliance with regulatory requirements (ICH-GCP), customer contracts, and internal policies.
  2. Meet recruitment targets and develop recruitment strategies.
  3. Contribute to risk mitigation planning and manage clinical risks throughout the project lifecycle.
  4. Maintain clinical quality standards, monitor compliance, and oversee quality issues.
  5. Manage clinical aspects of project finances, including EAC.
  6. Create and monitor clinical delivery plans, manage scope changes, and identify additional service opportunities.
  7. Work as the primary Clinical Lead on large, global trials, managing stakeholder communication and resolution.
  8. Support milestone achievement through collaboration with the clinical team.
  9. Report progress to stakeholders as required.
  10. Plan and resource the clinical team, conduct team meetings, and support professional development.
  11. Participate in bid preparations, develop clinical operation plans, and mentor new team members.
  12. Attend site visits as needed.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in healthcare or related scientific discipline.
  • At least 2 years of experience in clinical trial management or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of project management, GCP, ICH guidelines, and clinical research industry.
  • Understanding of project finances and clinical trial conduct.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and capable of working across cultures.
