Job Purpose

The Clinical Study Unit (CSU) Graduate will support the CSU Department through leading digital transformation of clinical studies utilizing AI and advanced technologies.

This includes maximizing AI-powered site selection, digital recruitment forecasting, and automated workflow systems for study start-up.

The role involves managing real-time performance through AI-driven dashboards and predictive analytics, coordinating stakeholder communication via digital platforms and AI meeting assistants, and ensuring quality and compliance through automated monitoring systems.

The key focus is leveraging technology to optimize study efficiency, maintain compliance, and enhance decision-making while reducing manual processes and improving study outcomes.

Scope

The CSU Graduate will support the department by integrating digital tools and AI into the clinical trial value chain, including feasibility, startup, maintenance, close-out, and relationship management.

Key Accountabilities

Local Study Strategy & Country Start-up Activities

Utilize AI-powered site selection tools analyzing historical data to identify optimal sites

Implement digital recruitment forecasting using predictive analytics for data-driven strategies

Manage automated workflow systems to streamline start-up activities

Conduct virtual kick-off meetings with digital collaboration tools

Local Study Management & Execution

Monitor real-time performance dashboards with AI insights

Integrate automated CTMS with predictive analytics for timeline management

Employ risk assessment AI to evaluate emerging risks

Engage sites via digital platforms with personalized communication

Set up automated escalation systems for KPIs below thresholds

Study Budget Management

Use AI-powered tools for budget forecasting and resource optimization

Track financials with real-time variance analysis

Set automated alerts for budget thresholds

Apply predictive cost modeling to foresee budget issues

Implement digital workflows for budget approvals and changes

Communication & Stakeholder Management

Leverage AI meeting assistants for action items and follow-ups

Share KPIs with data visualization tools

Use virtual platforms for recruitment activities

Optimize staffing with resource algorithms

Quality & Compliance Management

Automate compliance monitoring with AI risk detection

About You

Job-Holder Entry Requirements

Bachelor's degree in nursing, biochemistry, or related natural sciences

Keen interest in pursuing a career in clinical research

Ability to acquire knowledge of the clinical development process and therapeutic areas, with a strong interest in project management

Data analytics skills and experience with digital platforms and systems

Interpersonal skills to foster trustful relationships with stakeholders

Proficiency in English (reading, writing, comprehension)

Proficient in MS Office and quick to adapt to digital platforms
