About the Role

The Clinical Specialist in the Digital Health Sciences (DHS) team will provide scientific consultation to the commercial and project delivery teams. The Clinical Specialist will review clinical study protocols from prospective and current customers to identify the scientific and technological requirements of the clinical trial, and assist in identifying data collection methods and eCOA solution design based on best practices, patient and site preference, therapeutic area understanding, and regulatory guidance. The Clinical Specialist will also support senior DHS team members in preparing scientific content for pre-sales capabilities and bid defense presentations, while advising internal technical and operations teams to ensure clinical trials meet their objectives. This role offers the opportunity to develop deep expertise in COA/eCOA across multiple indications and stay at the forefront of industry trends and advances.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Support the commercial team by analyzing study protocols and other relevant study documents and documenting study requirements
• Assist in the development of client-facing materials and content for strategic and commercial meetings
• Provide guidance on the development of eCOA solutions to internal study teams, ensuring solution design meets study objectives
• Understand product capabilities, functionalities, and suitability of solutions across different therapeutic indications
• Maintain knowledge of the most recent industry best practices and regulatory requirements for clinical outcome assessments (COA)
• Conduct literature searches and reviews to develop therapeutic area knowledge
• Participate in thought leadership efforts to demonstrate the company's scientific expertise internally and externally
• Manage time effectively across multiple concurrent projects

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES

Essential:

• Advanced degree (MSc or PhD) in biological science or healthcare
• Good understanding of clinical research and the drug development cycle
• Proven ability to multitask, manage time effectively, and deliver in a fast-paced environment
• Business-driven mindset with an understanding of commercial drivers and growth objectives
• Experience presenting scientific content to diverse audiences
• Comfortable developing expertise in new fields through research and networking
