Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or related field.
• 3–5 years of CRA or equivalent experience.
• Strong knowledge of GCP/ICH guidelines.
• Experience in site monitoring and regulatory documentation.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel within Kimberley region.

Responsibilities

About the Role

Our client, a renowned pharmaceutical company dedicated to advancing medical treatments, is seeking a diligent and experienced Pharmaceutical Clinical Research Associate (CRA) to join their team, serving the Kimberley, Northern Cape region. As a CRA, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution and monitoring of clinical trials, adhering to strict protocols, Good Clinical Practices (GCP), and regulatory requirements. Your responsibilities will include site initiation, routine monitoring visits, data verification, and ensuring patient safety and data integrity. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct site feasibility, initiation, routine monitoring, and close-out visits for clinical trial sites.
• Ensure compliance with study protocols, standard operating procedures (SOPs), GCP, and all applicable regulatory requirements.
• Verify the accuracy and completeness of clinical data by reviewing source documents and case report forms (CRFs).
• Assess patient safety and eligibility by verifying inclusion/exclusion criteria.
• Train site staff on study procedures and ensure their adherence.
• Act as the primary liaison between investigative sites and the study team.
• Resolve data queries and ensure timely data entry and query resolution.
• Manage essential regulatory documents and maintain site files.
• Prepare monitoring reports and communicate findings and issues to the study team and management.
• Ensure timely recruitment of patients at assigned sites.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or a related healthcare field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Clinical Research Associate or equivalent role in pharmaceutical or clinical research.
• Thorough understanding of GCP, ICH guidelines, and clinical trial processes.
• Experience in site monitoring, data verification, and regulatory documentation.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with site staff.
• Proficiency in electronic data capture (EDC) systems and clinical trial management systems (CTMS).
• Ability to travel frequently within the Kimberley region and surrounding areas.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a remote/hybrid team.
