MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
To plan and facilitate identified learning and development interventions to ensure competency of all nursing staff.
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
REQUIRED EDUCATION
ESSENTIAL EDUCATION
Diploma or Degree in Nursing
DESIRED EDUCATION
Post-graduate Diploma in Nursing Education; Unit Specialty certificate or diploma where appropriate (e.g. Emergency Centre / Operating Theatre / Critical Care Unit)
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
ESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE
2 years’ Clinical experience as a professional nurse
DESIRED EXPERIENCE
1-2 years’ experience as a peer mentor; 1-2 years’ experience as a Workplace assessor
REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
