Job description

A vacancy exists for a Clinic Manager, reporting to the Regional Manager – Inland South. The Clinic Manager is responsible for meeting the needs of internal and external customers by executing the strategic and operational objectives of the LHC and clinic in areas such as growth, quality, and people management. The role involves leading, managing, and coordinating all clinic activities.

Critical Outputs :
  1. Effective implementation of marketing strategy (including growth): Develop and drive a marketing strategy aligned with the LHC business plan, understanding and addressing the needs of the target market and local community, including competitor analysis.
  2. Maintain quality patient care standards.
  3. Achievement of clinic financial targets: Focus on Budget, Capex / special projects, activity, revenue, cost of sales, overheads, EBITDA, and working capital. Identify trends through root cause analysis and implement remedial actions using department heads and enabling functions.
  4. Effective clinic operations management: Drive optimal functioning, monitor gaps and risks, and implement solutions.
  5. Effective relationship management with doctors: Attract and retain doctors, and participate in the Medical Advisory Committee's functioning.
  6. Effective quality systems management: Improve quality metrics, manage complaints, retain ISO certification, and ensure clinical benchmarking compliance. Lead and market quality initiatives involving staff, doctors, and stakeholders.
  7. Leadership and governance: Demonstrate leadership aligned with LHC values, lead initiatives and projects, manage the clinic MANCO, and foster positive work behavior. Recruit, motivate, and develop staff according to policies.
  8. Governance and risk management: Ensure sound business ethics, risk management, and transparency.
Requirements :
  1. Proven leadership and general management experience in healthcare, including financial management and business planning.
  2. Knowledge of the private healthcare industry, its challenges, and key players, with an ability to learn medical specialization fields, terminology, and equipment.
