About us : A vacancy exists for a Clinic Manager , reporting to the Regional Manager – InlandSouth.
The Clinic Manager is responsible for meeting the needs of the internal and external customers through theexecution of the LHC and clinic strategic and operational objectives in growth, quality & people by leading, managingand co-coordinating all clinic activities.Critical Outputs : Effective implementation of marketing strategy (including growth)Develop a marketing strategy for the clinic aligned to LHC business plan and marketing strategy and drivethe marketing of the clinic by understanding, identifying and addressing the needs of the target market andlocal community including understanding competitor strategies.Maintain quality patient care standards.Achievement of clinic financial targetsAreas of focus include Budget, Capex / special projects, activity, revenue, cost of sales, overheads, EBITDAand working capital.In all of the above identify trends, using root cause analysis, and implement remedial action wherenecessary through effective use of heads of department and enabling functions as required.Effective clinic operations managementDrive the optimal functioning of clinic operations, identify and monitor gaps and risks and implementcorrective action accordingly.Effective relationship management with doctorsDrive doctor attraction and retention and co-ordinate and participate, where applicable, in the optimalfunctioning of the Medical Advisory Committee.Effective quality systems managementDrive improvement of quality metrics and implementation of LHC standardized complaints managementsystemDrive retention of ISO certification and ensure compliance to clinical benchmarking.Actively lead and market quality in LHC as it relates to staff, doctors and other stakeholders.Effective people managementDemonstrate visible leadership in respect of LHC values, operating model and strategy.Actively sponsor LHC initiatives and projects.Actively lead and manage clinic MANCO and ensure participation from all parties to achieve strategicobjectives.Provide direction and inspire positive work behaviour.Recruit, retain, motivate and develop staff according to LHC people policies and practices.Governance and risk managementEnsure and drive optimal management of business governance to achieve sound business ethics, riskmanagement and control with appropriate transparency and controls.Requirements : Relevant degree essential.Business management qualification advantageous.Proven leadership and general business management experience (including financial management andbusiness planning processes) within a healthcare environment.Knowledge of the private healthcare industry, its challenges and role-players including understanding ofrelevant legislation.Basic understanding of or the ability to learn specialization fields, terminology and medical equipmentputer proficiencypetencies : Problem-solving, analysis and judgementResilienceEngaging diversityVerbal & written communication andpresentationInfluencingDrive & energyExcellence orientationEthical behaviorBuilding relationshipsCustomer responsivenessOrganizational awarenessLeading my exampleMotivating
