CLIENT RELATIONSHIP MANAGER (CRM) : Investment Operations Cape Town Western Cape

R450000 R550000 TCTC Per Annum plus performance based bonus

Highly reputable and innovative Asset Management firm is currently recruiting for a Client Relationship Manager to join their dynamic CRM Team.

One would you as a highly professional numerically inclined client centric professional who possesses very strong interpersonal and teamwork as well as communication and multitasking skills.

You are a solutions orientated problem solver who is a stickler for detail and deadline driven.

Main Purpose of the Role :

To ensure that the fund administration is undertaken accurately and within the set time constraints and provide daily assistance to support to the Investment teams Analysts Investment Risk and Portfolio Managers.

Key Duties and Responsibilities :

  1. Timeous processing and administration of Client flows
  2. Full onboarding and of new Client take on
  3. Systems or transaction processing of transitions and partial takeons and takeoffs
  4. Daily performance checking reviewing as well as reporting while liaising with the Investment Risk team
  5. Daily executions of money market transactions
  6. Cash management coordination as well as administration (including electronic banking)
  7. Instructions and administration reconciliations of investments in to pooled unit trust and / or life products
  8. Daily data monitoring review and coordination with data support team and review for further enhancements
  9. Monthly and quarterly reporting review and distribution to all clients
  10. Monthly management account and amortisation schedule reviews of Private and Public Market funds
  11. Coordinate annual financial audit for Private and Public Markets funds
  12. Client Audit Certificate reviews
  13. Preparation review and distribution of :

Quarterly SARB reporting.

  1. Reg 28 and Reg 30 reporting
  2. C48 Reporting
  3. Review and follow up on Bank / Scrip Recons queries
  4. Annual procedure documentation review and maintenance.
  5. Management and performance fee calculations invoicing and processing of payments
  6. Equity Derivative Fixed Income Money Market International trade monitoring.
  7. Corporate Action review and coordination with Portfolio Managers and administrators.
  8. Maintain 3rd party relationships (Administrators Brokers Custodians Consultants)

Qualification Skills and Experience required :

  1. Relevant B Honours Degree / Relevant Finance or Investment Degree
  2. 5 Years demonstrable experience within the asset management and / or fund management arena
  3. Exposure or understanding to Unit Trust and Life products is required
  4. Experience gained with both public and private sector Clients and / or an eagerness to work in both spheres
  5. Experience of investment report backs to clients
  6. Technical knowledge of Investments encompassing knowledge of performance and positioning of funds
  7. Strong technical accounting knowledge
  8. Proficient with MS Excel vlookup xlookup SUMIF etc. and having strong data management skills
  9. Working knowledge of PowerBI would be advantageous
