Job description

A well-established investment firm based in Newlands is seeking a Client Portfolio Manager / Financial Planner.

Responsibilities:
  1. Work as part of a professional team.
  2. Meet with prospective clients (virtually via Zoom/Teams or in person at our offices).
Requirements:
  1. Minimum 3 years of experience as a financial planner.
  2. Fluent in English and Afrikaans (both speech and writing).
  3. Relevant degree (BCom, BusiSci, Hons preferred).
  4. Must have passed the RE5 regulatory exam.
  5. Applicants with the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) qualification or those studying towards it will be preferred.
  6. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  8. Effective time management abilities.
  9. Aptitude for continued learning.
  10. Industry experience is essential.
Computer Literacy:
  • MS Office (Outlook, Excel).
