Grow Your Career as a Client Manager
The Client Manager is a seasoned subject matter expert responsible for managing and growing client relationships, driving expansion and renewals across all solution areas within assigned accounts.
This role leverages company tools and methodologies to analyze client needs and coordinate interactions across geographies. The ideal candidate possesses strategic thinking, business acumen, and deep knowledge of technology sales trends.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow relationships to drive expansion and renewals within regional clients.
- Build relationships and influence stakeholders across company offices to deliver excellent client experiences.
- Achieve revenue and margin targets by connecting client needs with company solutions.
- Develop and implement account strategies with local client managers.
- Minimize churn and maximize retention in assigned accounts.
- Utilize company's sales tools and methodologies to manage accounts, pipelines, and forecasts.
- Understand international trade policies relevant to the role.
- Meet or exceed quota targets through effective account management.
- Enhance profitability, revenues, and client satisfaction.
- Drive client satisfaction throughout the buying process, owning the commercial agreements.
- Identify current needs and articulate how company services add value.
- Systematically develop and grow accounts with strategic planning.
- Perform vulnerability analyses to ensure client needs are prioritized.
- Support financial control, governance, and compliance to reduce costs.
- Act as the first point of contact for client issues.
Knowledge and Attributes
Strong sales business acumen, client engagement skills, and the ability to link company offerings to client needs. Experience in sales pursuit and opportunity management is essential.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
- Relevant vendor certifications are advantageous.
- Experience in global partner management, sales, or customer service roles.
- Industry experience in IT or professional services, focusing on business development or sales.
- Proven success in client management and working across multiple stakeholders.
