Client Liaison Officer - Short Term Insurance - Cape Town

A prominent financial services provider has an exciting career opportunity available for a CLIENT LIAISON OFFICER – SHORT TERM INSURANCE, to join their dynamic business team in Somerset West, Western Cape.

This is a permanent position which offers a market-related salary.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum matric, with a tertiary qualification advantageous.
• Minimum 5 years' general working experience in the short-term insurance industry.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in short-term insurance advisory and sales services in corporate and personal lines.
• A NQF level 4 qualification and a RE5 certificate are prerequisites for all applications.
• Applicable Class of Business certification in short-term insurance products and relevant disciplines as per the FSCA.
• In-depth knowledge and proven experience in marketing short-term insurance products across the board.
• Strong entrepreneurial skills with a proven track record of successful business development in a similar role.

• Very well-developed presentation skills.
• The ability to deliver and achieve goals in a target-driven environment.
• Solid experience and logistical knowledge of the Western Cape Province as a business landscape.
• Fully bilingual and eloquent in English and Afrikaans: speak, read, and write.
• Isi-Zulu and Isi-Xhosa language abilities are highly advantageous.
• Tenacious and driven, with the ability to multi-task.
• Fully competent in MS Office, with strong report writing skills.
• Well-developed change-management abilities.
• The ability to build multi-level business relations with various stakeholders.
• Trustworthy and ethical, with a strong sense of accountability.
• Valid driver's license with reliable transport.
