A prominent financial services provider has an exciting career opportunity available for a CLIENT LIAISON OFFICER, to join their dynamic business team in Cape Town, Western Cape. This is a permanent position which offers a market related salary structure.

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum matric, with a tertiary qualification advantageous.

Minimum RE5 certification and NQF level 5 qualification is essential to the role.

Applicable Class of Business certification in health and medical aid products and its relevant disciplines as per the FSCA.

Valid CMS certificate.

Minimum 5 years’ applicable experience in the financial services / wealth management industry.

Minimum 3 years’ experience with an in-depth knowledge of employee benefits, including but not limited to medical aid products, hospital plans, medical insurance, pension funds, group life plans and employee benefits in general.

Previous career experience managing parastatal client accounts would be highly advantageous.

Strong and proven experience in customer care, business development, networking and prospecting and financial compliance with a well-networked clientele.

Proven business success (new business) whilst working in a target driven environment.

Proven and successful track record in key account management whilst simultaneously managing a variety of clients.

Other Requirements

Solid experience and logistical knowledge of Cape Town as business landscape.

Excellent interpersonal skills, well-presented and professional.

The ability to build multi-level business relations with various stakeholders.

The ability to manage and perform independently.

Tenacious and driven.

Fluent in English and Afrikaans: speak, read and write. Fluency in Xhosa highly advantageous.

Fully competent in the MS Office program, with strong experience in report writing.

Trustworthy and ethical with a strong sense of accountability.

Valid driver’s license with own reliable transport.
