Job summary

Qualifications

• 2-3 years in the financial services industry will be advantageous.
• Relevant tertiary education or courses.
• Understanding of FAIS and FICA legislation.
• Excel, Word, Outlook essential; SharePoint.
• Xplan experience.
• High energy, customer centric and relationship oriented.
• Methodical, accurate with meticulous attention to detail.
• Initiative-taking and strong organizational skills.
• Critical thinking and problem solving to adapt to client needs.

Responsibilities

• Implementation of the client services experience as defined by the Head of Operations.
• Take responsibility for administration processes and controls in Financial Planning practices.
• Liaison between Financial Planner Partner and product providers.
• Follow the formal complaint resolution process.
• Be the point of contact for clients ensuring efficient delivery of requirements.
• Adhere to Treating Customers Fairly principles.
• Collate client information and data discovery (fact find).
• Prepare documentation for engagements between Financial Planning Partner and client.
• Capture and check client onboarding (FICA & AML) and related documentation.
• Submit new business and monitor underwriting and lodgment rules.
• Coordinate medicals and follow up on outstanding requirements.
• Provide ongoing service and maintenance support to the Financial Planning Partner and clients.
• Check commission statements and manage related accounts.
