Qualified Professional Accountant ( 0 - 3 years of PQE)

Manage accurate financial records and prepare VAT returns, statutory accounts, corporation and personal tax returns for a range of clients,

A tech-driven, cloud-based accountancy firm that provides tailored, proactive financial support to small businesses and entrepreneurs is looking for a proactive Client Accountant to join their remote team.

As a Client Accountant, you’ll be managing a diverse client portfolio across multiple sectors, this role involves using cloud-based tools to provide high-quality financial and compliance services, making it a great fit for someone who values autonomy, adapts well to a flexible environment, and excels at independently managing their workload.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for maintaining accurate financial records for a variety of clients.
• Prepare and draft VAT returns, ensuring timely and compliant submissions.
• Compile and draft statutory accounts in accordance with regulatory standards.
• Prepare corporation tax returns, ensuring accuracy and alignment with client financial data.
• Complete personal tax returns for individual clients, offering support as needed.
• Collaborate closely with both clients and internal team members using cloud-based accounting platforms to streamline communication and efficiency.
• You’ll attend a weekly team meeting every Monday at 9:00 AM, while enjoying the flexibility to manage your own schedule for the rest of the week.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Qualified Professional Accountant (SA).
• 0 - 3 years of post-qualification experience.
• Proficient in working with accounting platforms such as Xero, QuickBooks, Dext, and TaxCalc.
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• Comfortable with remote working and cloud-based systems

Salary:

• R30 000 - R40 000 / month (Based on relevant experience)
