Placements24 is seeking an experienced Cleaning Operations Supervisor to oversee cleaning services in Mahikeng. The role requires strong leadership to manage a team, ensure cleanliness standards, and maintain operational efficiency.

You will handle staff scheduling, training, quality control, and inventory management, contributing to exceptional cleaning services that uphold the client’s reputation and a safe, hygienic environment for all stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a cleaning or janitorial supervisory role.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team effectively.
• Solid understanding of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and sanitation best practices.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in commercial or institutional settings.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct the daily activities of the cleaning staff, assigning tasks and ensuring efficient workflow.
• Develop and implement comprehensive cleaning schedules and procedures for all areas.
• Conduct regular inspections to monitor the quality of work and ensure compliance with standards.
• Train and mentor cleaning staff on proper techniques, safety protocols, and the use of equipment and supplies.
• Manage cleaning supply inventory, ordering new stock as needed and ensuring cost-effective procurement.
• Act as the primary point of contact for operational issues, responding to and resolving concerns promptly.
