Job description

The ability to independently lead a Claims team to effectively and efficiently carry out daily roles and responsibilities according to set expectations and standards is essential. This includes following processes and procedures consistently and aligning all relevant parties in a timely manner. The candidate should be proactive in all avenues of communication.

Qualifications and Skills
  • Excellent computer skills; knowledge and experience with Windows Office software are essential.
  • Knowledge of Panda System will be an advantage.
  • Strong team player able to work in an environment with multiple stakeholders.
  • Self-initiated and willing to work in a warehouse environment throughout December holidays.
  • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Clear, concise, and accurate communication skills.
  • Ability to interact confidently and professionally with people from diverse backgrounds.

Willing to work different shifts, including during December holidays.

Responsibilities
  1. Meet customer expectations on dealer claims turnaround times and query feedback, ensuring accuracy and quality standards.
  2. Drive the team through regular monitoring, auditing, and reporting of key deliverables (Claims) to management during startup meetings, ensuring system and process robustness.
  3. Lead the team towards achieving operational metrics.
  4. Motivate, control, and maintain discipline regarding the overall performance of the claims department team.
  5. Assist dealers with claims processes and ensure strict adherence to policies and procedures.
  6. Compile reports and monitor monthly and individual dealer sales versus claims performance, liaising with ABMs for corrective actions to meet objectives.
  7. Cancel dealer claims not returned within the prescribed period.
  8. Support the engine core return program implemented by the Sales Department.
  9. Ensure POPP Returns are processed within 3 days of tags being printed.
  10. Compile monthly reports of recovered claims from service providers (audit & courier companies).
  11. Reduce the number of damage claims and initiate new processes for handling crash parts.
  12. Ensure OHS and ISO compliance to support a zero lost time case rate and SBI target.
Qualifications
  • National Diploma / BTech / BCom Degree in Logistics or equivalent.
