About the Company

The MultiChoice Group is a multinational media and entertainment group headquartered in South Africa, Dubai, and the Netherlands, with principal operations in pay television, video entertainment, advertising, and content security.

Brands within the Group include DStv, GOtv, SuperSport, M-Net, DStv Media Sales, Showmax, and European-based content security leader Irdeto.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Determine the validity of claims and escalate where necessary.
  2. Apply policy and procedure when handling claims.
  3. Ensure appropriate and timely resolution of claims.
  4. Keep records of all items related to a claim.
  5. Obtain and examine relevant information to validate the claim.
  6. Investigate and resolve claim exceptions and queries.
  7. Draft settlement letters accurately and submit for management approval as required.
  8. Ensure claim outcomes are fair and follow regulatory guidelines.
  9. Demonstrate treating customers fairly through resolution of claims.
  10. Act in the best interest of the customer and the company.
  11. Adapt to changes or new developments in the company and industry.
  12. Build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders.
  13. Effect and maintain Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  14. Perform ad-hoc activities as required to achieve business objectives.
Experience, Skills, and Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a representative on FSP license (advantageous).
  • Proficient in PC use, with a basic understanding of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Must be deadline-driven and capable of completing tasks within given timelines.
  • Knowledge and experience in dealing with insurance products (beneficial).
  • Understanding of MultiChoice business policies, general billing rules, and familiarity with Clarity / ICC (beneficial).
  • Knowledge of Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) outcomes (beneficial).
