Pineapple Tech PTY LTD is seeking a dedicated Claims Enablement Agent to support post-claim processes, payments and salvage operations within a dynamic short-term insurance team. You will handle supplier payments, verify invoices, collect documents and ensure timely settlements without making underwriting decisions.

Qualifications

• Experience in supplier payments, procurement administration, car hire, salvage or vehicle movements.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in claims administrative experience.
• Knowledge of FAIS and regulatory frameworks (TCF).
• Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices and payments accurately and within required turnaround time.
• Check the invoice, supplier, payment recipient, banking details and amount before payment; dispute incorrect invoices and prepare bank settlement letters.
• Provide remittance and payment-status feedback and follow up outstanding payments.
• Ensure closure of claims lines where all payments are re-opened or completed.
• Meet the 85% quality target measured through Team Manager checks of invoice processing, payment accuracy and correct recipient details.
• Correct quality findings promptly and avoid repeat errors.
• Request, follow up and terminate car hire accurately on the system.
• Monitor active, expiring and overdue rentals and follow up outstanding actions.
• Support cost saving by preventing unnecessary rental days and terminating promptly when no longer required.
• Coordinate salvage, dealerstocking, non-member towing and vehicle upliftments with AFM, Auction Nation and other service providers.
• Follow up vehicle location, required documents and the next action until hand-off or movement is completed.
• Escalate delays, disputed charges or missing information affecting turnaround or cost.
• Collect, check and file required payment, salvage, supplier and fulfilment documents.
• Support supplier and procurement administration, including supplier queries and supplier-detail updates.
• Keep the open claims report clean and current across approved, rejected, cancelled and closed outcomes, and ensure unnecessary reserves are cleared or referred for correction.

Position Overview:

A Claims Enablement Agent provides day-to-day procurement and administrative support after a claim outcome has been recorded, whether the outcome is approved, rejected, cancelled or closed. The role processes supplier payments, checks and disputes invoices, promptly requests bank settlement letters, collects required documents, completes salvage functions such as dealerstocking, towing and vehicle upliftments, and manages car-hire requests through to termination. The role keeps post-claim actions, the open claims report and reserves up to date and clear, helps reduce avoidable costs and ensures suppliers are paid correctly and on time. It does not assess claims or make cover, liability or settlement decisions

Key Objectives and Responsibilities:

General duties and responsibilities of a Claims Enablement Agent at Pineapple include but not limited to :

• Experience in supplier payments, procurement administration, car hire, salvage or vehicle movements.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in claims administrative experience.
• Knowledge of FAIS, TCF, and regulatory compliance frameworks
• Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
