Description

Marsh McLennan is seeking candidates based in Durban or surrounding KWZ area for the position of Claims Client Carrier Relationship Officer.

Responsibilities
  • Review and understand incoming documentation, seeking guidance when necessary
  • Identify policies and coverages, validate where needed, and clarify uncertainties
  • Communicate with clients, colleagues, third parties, or insurers for updates and requests
  • Support procedural guidance for clients and facilitate information exchange
  • Generate and validate claims reports, distribute as required
  • Adhere to compliance/regulatory standards and Marsh's professional standards
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with clients, colleagues, and insurers
  • Proactively manage tasks to meet deadlines and service standards
  • Manage and prioritize workloads, escalate issues as needed
  • Manage outstanding claims according to professional standards
Requirements
  • Insurance and claims handling knowledge

  • Previous insurance studies are advantageous
