Job summary

A leading banking institution in Bellville seeks energetic, self-motivated individuals to provide administrative support. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years' experience in banking or administration, and possess a Grade 12 National Certificate. Ideal candidates will also have a Higher Certificate in Accounting or Banking and knowledge of banking systems. This role involves adherence to policies and service-level agreements.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years' relevant working experience, ideally in a banking/administration/retail administration environment.
  • Understanding of basic mathematical/accounting principles in a retail/financial services environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the relevant business unit/department in full adherence to agreed SLAs and policy.

Purpose Statement

Experience

Minimum:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ relevant working experience, ideally in a banking/administration/retail administration environment

Ideal:

  • Capitec Bank experience
Qualifications

Minimum

  • Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational

Ideal Or Preferred

  • Higher Certificate in Accounting - Financial Accounting or Banking
Knowledge

Min:

  • Understanding of basic mathematical / accounting principles in a retail /financial services environment
  • Relevant banking systems and applications
  • Standard Banks Link (SBL)

Ideal:

  • Knowledge of claims
  • Knowledge of CIT (cash in transit) processes and compliance
  • Knowledge of Capitec's policies, procedures and best practises.
  • Knowledge and Experience of compromise notes ( Burn and Mutilated Dye-Stain).
  • Knowledge of SARBS regularities and standards.
