About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Civil Project Manager to lead key infrastructure projects from their office in Bloemfontein . This critical role involves the overall planning, execution, and closing of projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget. You will be responsible for coordinating teams, managing resources, mitigating risks, and serving as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all phases of civil engineering projects, from initiation and planning through execution and completion.


• Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.

• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or issues, and implement effective mitigation strategies.


• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations, building codes, and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; PMP certification is highly advantageous.


• Minimum of 8 years of experience in managing civil engineering projects.


• Demonstrated success in delivering projects on time and within budget.


• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera), and contract administration .


• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
