Job summary

RPO Recruitment is seeking a Civil Engineering Technician for a respected consulting engineering firm in Cape Town. The role involves drafting, civil design, and project coordination across municipal and private developments.

You will contribute to planning, design, and delivery of infrastructure projects, working with multidisciplinary teams to provide compliant solutions. A Diploma in Civil Engineering and 3–5 years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• 3–5 years' experience in civil engineering design and drafting.
• Experience on municipal infrastructure and land development projects.
• Valid driver's licence.

Responsibilities

• Prepare construction drawings and technical documentation for civil projects.
• Design roads, drainage, water reticulation, and earthworks.
• Produce surface layouts for roads, parking, and development sites.
• Conduct site investigations and technical assessments.
• Compile reports and liaise with stakeholders.
