Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Civil Engineer to join the water and wastewater team in Stellenbosch, Western Cape. The role focuses on designing, implementing, and managing systems for clean water access and wastewater management.

You will design treatment facilities, develop P&IDs, run hydraulic models, and ensure regulatory compliance while collaborating with managers, contractors, and regulators on impactful projects in the Western Cape.

Qualifications

  • B.Eng Civil Engineering degree required.
  • Minimum 5 years in water and wastewater engineering.
  • Proven experience in design of water/wastewater treatment processes and infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in design software and hydraulic modeling tools.
  • Strong knowledge of environmental regulations pertaining to water quality.

Responsibilities

  • Design and oversee construction of water and wastewater treatment facilities.
  • Develop process designs, hydraulic models, and P&IDs for treatment plants.
  • Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies for new water infrastructure projects.

About the Role
