Job Advertisement : Civil Engineer / Technologist

We are seeking a Professional Civil Engineer or Civil Technologist to provide civil services to our client. The candidate should have a strong knowledge of civil engineering disciplines and good engineering practices, including design, construction monitoring, and project management. This role involves autonomous project execution while supporting the broader client business, values, and vision. Additionally, the candidate should mentor young Engineers and Technologists to gain experience and acquire PR registration.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

The duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• General project administration
• Assist with the preparation of proposals
• Ensure clear agreement of client objectives and that these are met or exceeded
• Assist and adhere to HSE requirements during design stages
• Participate as a Design Engineer / Technologist in feasibility studies, conceptual design, detailed design, and project implementation
• Manage and control health, safety, and environmental risks associated with project activities
• Develop and implement initiatives to improve cost-effectiveness and efficiency of project execution
• Manage risks through engineering designs
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Train and mentor young Engineers and Technologists
